Integrated Wellness Services

 

Wellness is a practice. It's personal. It's you—t's your unique style. It's minute to minute. Day-to-day. Year-to-year. It's about developing positive habits. It's about self-acceptance, patience, and compassion.

Wellness is about education. It's about feeling good in a moment, in a way that doesn't detract from the next. It's about overcoming obstacles—to better know and better care for yourself. And it's about having access to the support and resources needed to meet whatever goals you set for yourself and your body.

Akira of Albany takes a holistic approach to health and wellness.

We offer integrative wellness and therapeutic services such as massage therapy, healing touch, and more.

We’re happy to be able to offer integrated wellness services at Akira, but most of these services are not covered by insurance. We partner with third party vendors who set their own per-hour or per-program fee.

 

As we continue to grow, we will be adding integrative wellness services centered around the experience and needs of women. Keep checking back as we start to add services!

Healing Touch


Healing touch, also known as energy therapy, focuses on bringing the body's energy into realignment—based on the notion that an imbalance or disruption in the body's chakra, or energy centers, potentially contributes to pain, illness, mental health symptoms, and other ailments.

Massage Therapy


Massage therapy focuses on the body's soft tissue and muscles. There are multiple types of massage, and each is designed to unlock specific healing benefits, through touch, to particular body systems.
