Kelsey has worked in health care for over a decade. She’s spent the majority of her career  focused on community outreach and education (and she’s still focused on community outreach and education–because it’s so important!). Kelsey believes that education and equity go hand and hand. And that great health care starts with great self-care. She’s really excited to be a part of an organization like Akira that shares so many of her own values, and puts them into practice to create the kind of health care experience we’d all want to have.  

In her free time, you’re most likely to find Kelsey relaxing with her husband and two dogs, Winston and Arnold. Fun Fact! She also enjoys cutting hair–and she’s pretty good at it too!
