Sabrina Mosseau, BS, RN, OCN

Sabrina serves as executive director at New York Oncology Hematology as well as at Akira. With more than 20 years experience as a healthcare executive, Sabrina knows how to bring good ideas and lofty ideals into practice. She’s proud of the work she’s done to drive NYOH’s rapid evolution–incorporating CAR T cell therapy research, expanding Gynecologic Oncology, and developing a mold-breaking vision for Akira. But she’s proudest of all to do it while never losing sight of why she wanted to work in healthcare in the first place: to help people.
Sabrina has been published nationally on the topic of patient navigation and is recognized locally as a prior recipient of the Capital Region Chamber Woman of Excellence Award, To Life! Extra Mile Award, YWCA Resourceful Woman Award and Siena College Professor Egon Plager Award. Sabrina is also a member of the Upstate New York/Vermont Leukemia and Lymphoma Board of Directors, Mom Starts' Here Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Chamber.
Sabrina has a minor (ok major) obsession with monkeys, and it is among her life's saddest concessions that she probably won’t ever have one as a pet. Though she has a list of excellent names picked out just in case.
